Works very well for my 40-gallon patio aquarium in this weather. Just in time for the winter season! It has a dial to change temp settings on top and a very clear indicator.

Works great! I put it in a recently vacant tank…. heated up immediately, completely submerged! From the angle that I have it I can’t see an indicator light for being on…. but it definitely works great!
