Great value for the money, really good product. Definitely recommended for their intended use (for outdoor pets). I bet chickens would love them!However, don’t buy these if you’re going to use them for indoor pets. I bought them to feed to my pet isopods and the smell (stink, tbh) was just too strong. I would recommend this product for outdoor pet use only. That’s not a slight against the product itself (it’s a fine product), just a heads up for other people who might have been considering them for indoor pets.

My chickens absolutely loose it over this. All i gotta do is shake or open the bag and they can’t stop theirselves from running over. While they free range i take the bag into the house and mix it with some mealworms give a good shake and then bring it out for their dinner bed time snack. It’s gone within minutes. My eggs have been beautiful and my girls are excited about this bag. They know what it looks like. Absolutely recommend this. But my chickens also started in a fish/shrimp/crab diet mixed into their meals and it’s been a favorite since.
