Micranthemum Monte-Carlo can be compared with the very popular Baby Tears, in that the leaves look very similar and it carpets very well too. Micranthemum Monte-Carlo leaves are slightly bigger, ranging from 5mm-10mm. It is a bright shade of green and is a wonderful plant for thick carpets. It does not need as much light as other foreground plants and is considered slightly easier to grow. Good levels of CO2 will ensure this plant does well but it’s not required.

good growth but did not know that it came in a grated wire – I couldn’t separate them.

The USPS mail delivery person decided that the mailbox was the best spot for a live plant despite the shipper clearly labeling it live plant do not leave in mailbox. Even so it seemed ok. The grass came on a mesh (metal) pad that keeps it in place. I didn’t try to separate it and planted it whole after a good rinse. So far so good.

It arrived pretty fast and was still a bright green. It was bigger piece than what I expected so I am extremely happy. Looks great. No complaints.
